What's On  for Summer2011:

Hope everyone has a nice and relaxing summer.  This year the VBS gang decided to take a short break from the regular summer program.  It WILL be back next year~  For now, families are enjoying a time together to rest and relax in God's sacred world. 

Grow Zone Get Acquainted Sunday is SEPTEMBER 11, 2011 9:30-10:30am.  Just a bit of time to tour about the Grow Zone area and Register your children for Nursery, Noah's Ark, Godly Play.  Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the Zone. 

This fall we hope to have ...

Family Worship - 9:30-10:00 - Chapel - This is an intergenerational time to gather, sing, pray, and focus on sacred story together.  This gathering time will utilize contemporary themes and music. 

Community Worship: 10:30am - We encourage all our community to gather together to hear announcements, share in song and prayer and grow zone learning time.

After the Learning Time: 

Children/Youth will go to their designated classrooms for Godly Play learning and      youth will gather in their designated space.

Parents May Opt to: go to the parlor for faith discussion, coffee and muffins, enjoy a chat time with other parents OR remain in worship upstairs, OR participate in the Godly Play learning.  One requirement that we are asking of all families is a commitment to faith development in some form or another during the year.  This structure gives you some choices and freedom to move about the community and participate in different ways.  We hope this will help meet your needs and we welcome your feedback.

It is our hope, that NUC becomes a welcoming and learning place of faith for all! 

As a quick post-it note... I would like to thank everyone who has helped the Grow Zone over the past few years.  It has been a true blessing to be with you and learn with you...May God bless and keep you the rich blessing you already are!
