DREAM TEAM

The Dream Team was formed in 2009 and given the mandate of making recommendations for alterations to the front of the Sanctuary. As a Team, they have spent the last two years engaged in much discussion as they visited other churches for ideas and analyzed our Mission Statement. We gathered much-needed input from the Congregation through survey and conversation. These activities have helped us in the process of determining who we are as a church community which assists in identifying what we require to satisfy the needs of our entire faith community in respect to the use and physical layout of the Sanctuary.

At the April 12th Executive Council meeting, the Dream Team made a presentation and proposed a concept for re-developing the Sanctuary to creat a space that is simple and multi-functional, and will enhance the worship experience for everyone. This re-development will address concerns of visibility, safety, and sound.

The Executive Council gave the Team approval to move on to the next step of defining in more detail the design and engineering work needed and developing cost estimates. This work is currently being done by the Dream Team members and when finished, they will present their findings to full Council and the Congregation for approval.
